PhD Summer School in Translational Biology

6 - 10 July 2015, Hotel Interlaken, Switzerland

 

The EPFL-ETHZ joint summer school in translational biology is a five-day program, focused on the interface between fundamental biology and cutting-edge technologies, and their impact on human health. The 2-ECTS summer school will bring together leading scientists to share the latest trends in bench to bedside research. The school will consist of lectures given by speakers from academia and pharmaceutical industry, time for outdoor activities as well as a roundtable panel discussion. Participants of the summer school will be required to prepare a poster presentation and a 2-minutes flash talk about their research.

The summer school is open to all PhD students. To allow maximum interaction, participation is limited to a maximum of 30 PhD students.  

 

The participation fee of CHF 250.- (exclusive of 8% VAT), payable upon acceptance, includes accommodation (twin-sharing rooms) and meals. Travel costs are not covered.
